• General Backflow Testers Certification (40 Hours)

This class will teach you how to test, troubleshoot and repair the following backflow assemblies:

• (RPA) Reduced Pressure Assembly
• (DC) Double Check Assembly
• (PVB) Pressure Vacuum Breaker
• (SVB) Spill-Resistant Pressure Vacuum Breaker

Upon completion and passing of the B&L class you would be eligible to take the (AWWA) American Water Works Association examination. Upon passing all sections of the examination you would then be issued your license.

• General Backflow Testers Re-Certification (10 Hours)

This class will refresh you on the fundamentals of the testing, troubleshooting and repair procedures for the following backflow assemblies:

• (RPA) Reduced Pressure Assembly
• (DC) Double Check Assembly
• (PVB) Pressure Vacuum Breaker
• (SVB) Spill-Resistant Pressure Vacuum Breaker

Upon completion of this class you would be eligible to take the (AWWA) American Water Works Association examination. Upon passing all sections of the examination you would then be re-certified.

• Cross-Connection Control Specialist Certification (40 Hours)

This class will teach you how to survey a property for cross-connections. You will learn how to determine where backflow protection is needed and should be installed in order to prevent a cross-connection.

Class participants must pass the B&L class and currently hold an AWWA General Backflow Testers License to be eligible to take the (AWWA) American Water Works Association examination. If class participant does not have an AWWA General Backflow Testers License he/she will receive a B&L Certificate for attending the class but will not be eligible to take the AWWA examination.
